 we wished there was a 6 hour day time experience for those of us who can't stay awake overnight. We would have loved to take the time to walk down the body chute.

 This place is incredible! We took the daytime tour, but will likely do the night tour in the near future.

 The staff was great. We did get some activity but have not gone through everything yet.

 I came here with my boyfriend as a stop along the way to Tennessee. Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted to visit this building. I love the paranormal. I have been a ghost tour guide in my home town of Chicago, and I have traveled America visiting the most haunted places. To get the opportunity to come here was amazing and it did NOT disappoint. We took the historical 2 hour tour. Still was full of ghost stories and the guides were knowledgeable and kind. 10/10

 Outstanding experience. We loved being about to go off and investigate by ourselves. There were alot of people on the tour but everyone found their places and respected other space.

 The tour was awesome. I would love to come back during the day to see a different perspective.

 We took the night tour, and while it was beautiful, the group size was far too large. With so many people talking, it took away from the atmosphere, it wasn’t very spooky, and there was no real opportunity to experience anything with that many people around

 Awesome experience. Our guide was Chrystal and she was very informative. She spoke loud enough for our whole group to hear and she took the time to explain every floors and share experiences she felt since she started working here. Would love to do the overnight stay at Waverly next time.

 We’ve done the U.S. Ghost Adventures tour in Louisville last year and tried again this year but our guide never showed up which was a disappointing experience. However I had booked this tour for the next evening and we all agreed it was worth every penny to attend! The guides were both helpful and informative and the Sanitorium itself is definitely eerie and creepy. After reviewing the photos we all took, we definitely feel we caught some paranormal activity!!

 The date we wanted to come was booked. I called and talked to Crystal, and she was able to add us to the tour ! What a wonderful, personal experience, that my family was so grateful for !

 I had visited before and it was amazing. This time not so much. People were all over with lights, being so loud if you tried to hear or see anything you couldn't. Very disappointed.

 The tour was fantastic. The guide, Crystal, was extremely knowledgeable about the history and events on the property. Our guides had worked on the property for nearly 15 years combined. We had several paranormal experiences while on the tour. I highly recommend reading the email you receive with your tickets. The property entrance is difficult to find. The email provides both location details and entrance onto the property instructions. Great experience.

 Great tour and tour guide

 We thought there were too many people. We will try to book a private investigation. We tried to book one NYE but it sold out. We will try again for next year.

 A map of all the good locations would be nice or signs on the walls. It is a very big building. And we all asked each other where this place was or what spirit was in there. The halloween decorations were cheesey still set up. And we were told to go on the lefts side of the hall so we didnt get into them. The building itself was gorgeous. We did get some stuff but way too many people. And some werent even investigating. They were tb3ing loud and banging doors and loud.

 I really enjoy Waverly however I feel like the people who have been there before should be given the option of the tour on the 6 hour overnight. It ends up being redudant when you know everything already.

 It wasn’t bad but there are way too many people for one night, everytime you think you’re picking up something (voices, footsteps, etc) it just ends up being another person investigating. Everytime you try to get into a spot alone for a silent reading, 5 more people walk in or are already there. A bit disappointing when you’re there for a serious investigation! But overall I’ve never been dissatisfied with waverly itself.

 Kristal was a great tour guide for our history tour. She was so kind and answered everyone's questions. We learned different things on our day tour than on the night tour.

 LOVED IT !! Rated 5 stars from everyone in my family. Our tour guides, Crystal and Anthony, made accommodations for one in our group on a knee scooter ! Most of our group took the whole tour, while the one was personally escorted around by Brandon and Molly. What an amazing, knowledgable team !! We couldn't have been treated better or nicer ! I can't say enough about how touched we were that everything that could have been done, and more, was done to help our group !

 We loved our tour with Jacob. He was very knowledgeable and shared personal stories that he experienced himself.

 Absolutely love waverly hills! Best part of the night was hearing a door slamming! Will be making another trip soon

 Worth coming from Wisconsin. All our friends liked it.

 It was really great. The only thing I would change is it would be so awesome to have some more free time to roam around.

 I had an absolutely amazing time. The tour guides were entertaining and knowledgeable, and I saw so many creepy unexplainable things. We are 100% planning on coming back for an overnight investigation

 I was a guest from Australia and having watched documentaries on YouTube, I had an idea of what to expect historically and still i felt this was a really enjoyable night with things I hadn't heard or seen so it was great to be able to be inside the place in a hands on way amongst the history. The grounds and facilities were also well taken care of.

 I enjoyed the tour. Nicole was a great guide. It is a five story building, so plenty of stairs. The campus is expansive. Well worth it, but be aware you'll be mostly walking in the dark for two hours. Fascinating stories of lost souls. Great opportunity to encounter paranormal activity.

 My husband and I I got this as a Christmas present and it did NOT disappoint! Crystil was our tour guide and was so amazing! I love that she shared her own experiences and took her time with the whole group! We even got to meet Tina and ask her questions while we browsed the gift shop options! Thank you for making such a cool place available to the people!

 My girlfriend and I had a great time during our tour. Our guide, Cristal, did an amazing job, and she clearly showed her knowledge about the building and its history. We are very happy about our experience! We will recommened to our friends and family!

 Best part of our trip. Very informative and worth every penny. We highly recommend this tour.

 It was great, the scare actors were super engaging and fun, shoutout to the one guy in a straight jacket that kept scaring us along the whole thing!

 The only thing that saved the night was the haunted house. That we have never been disappointed with, but it’s not enough to bring us back when we drive two hours to get there.

 The haunted house was okay. There were no real jump scares and lots of missed opportunities for scares. My husband had to use the bathroom after the tour and before the haunted house. He was told he could come back in and join us if he ran outside to pee, but once outside, he wasn’t allowed back in - even though we paid for the RIP tickets. So he didn’t even experience the haunted house. Throughly disappointing.

 Would highly recommend

 The ONLY suggestion I would make for the Halloween attraction would be to turn the fog machines down by about 10%. Otherwise it was amazing!

 Staff was amazing and scare actors were so into their characters! Honestly I was amazed at how mi h I got scared by them 😂 really nice prop set up too

 I was expecting some slow, boring tour of the place for 2 hours. But instead, they actually had us go into the haunted house they had specifically tailored to fit the theme of the insane asylum. The actors were really cool, unfortunately they weren't allowed to touch us. It was a great experience nonetheless. The haunted house had so many great rooms, traps, and tricky spots to navigate through in the dark. Also, its pretty safe for children around 13 y.o.

 the haunted house was awful. There was so much animations and fake material used there was not very many actors in the haunted house....not much to be scared of.

 We had a blast coming back next year.

 Waverly Hills needs a photo op spot for post haunted house. Perhaps a ring light set up with timer where the users can text themselves the photo. OR a professional photo like medieval times captured outside the gates prior to the video start where guests can purchase a printed copy.

 Okay / I'd say average. The tour was fine - the presenters were strong in their knowledge and delivery. The haunted house was fun - nothing scary though. I was really hoping that it would be more than I experienced.

 I enjoyed my experience! The actors all did a great job! My only complaint was that large chunk of the haunt that was pitch black. For some that might be totally scary but for me it felt like a quick fix for a lack of budget or ideas? Every other part was awesome though! Definitely coming back next year!

 I don't think the mini tour was worth 40.00 but the haunted house was worth 20.00. I wont take the tour from here on out but I will be back for the haunted house.

 I have been taking tours at Waverly for many years, and I learn something new every time I come.

 The haunted house was decent, Been better in the past. Too many really dark places that was just walking around in total darkness

 Fun! It was busy but managed very well. The haunted house itself wasn't as spooky, it was more of a fun spooky experience. The beginning was different with the 3D glasses. I lie that they did something different than most haunted houses to stand out. It was long for only $20 per ticket and the wait wasn't terrible but we got there very early.

 The haunted house didn’t have a lot of actors. There was so many places where an actor could jump out and scare us but never did.

 The haunted house was just LOUD and very rushed. The 3D part was sickening and then the bridge through the spinning tunnel was awful!. The traffic just getting into the place was crazy. We sat in line for almost 2 hours before actually getting in!

 we loved the attraction! From the projection on the building, to the props inside, and the actors. Everything about this event is amazing. The best part is the price, for being a top notch event, I am always surprised the tickets are such a low cost. Also, just the idea of being in an actual haunted place doing a haunted house is really cool. All the details matter and your props and actors nail it!. Would re commend to anyone

 Walk-through was great, as usual. Two concerns or questions. First, it would be nice to see any and all upgrades and reconditioning that has been done over the years. It would be nice to see where our money is going. Secondly, was the BBQ afterwards for thr guests? There was no advertisement of it, nor were there signs after. Smelled very good, wish we could have had some

 I know there's not much more that you can do to scare someone without physically harming someone, but it really wasn't scary. All the lights made it feel UN-authentic, it really killed the vibe when we made it to the building & seen "come see our x-mas laser light show" flashing across it. The VIP tickets should be $40 vs $60 for the quality.

 It’s was so fun except for the dark room the people breathing in my ear was too much and I was telling them to stop and that I was not given a safety word but the continued I was crouched down on the floor cry and had to be dragged out by my girlfriend and we where called fat by a worker which very much upset me and my girlfriend other than that super fun

 I thought they did an excellent job. Well coordinated, good setup, and a lengthy event that was worth the money.

 The tour and info were excellent. There was so much more to it than what I anticipated. I would recommend going when they are not holding their haunt as it does detract a bit from the experience. But even with the fake scares present, the tour was quite thrilling and informative. I intend to return and bring another person who is interested next year.

 The haunted house on first floor is well done and a lot of fun, takes about 25 minutes to go through.

 I was disappointed they didn't incorporate much of the lore into the experience. Would be more scary if you focus more on the haunted aspect of the building. Not scared at all. Also took at least 30 minutes just to park.

 I was expecting you to capitalize on the sanitorium's history and not just be like every other haunted house. I expected better actors and better costumes, as well as atmosphere. We were very disappointed in the experience.

 Very well put together. Good job! This was my 13 year old first ever experience and she loved it!

 The light show wasn't as good as normally. The haunted house was good!

 Haunted house was very nice. Should probably separate groups a little more though.

 My wife and I have always wanted to visit Waverly Hills. We were so excited to go and it did not disappoint. The tour guides were amazing for the short RIP tour we got before the haunted house. And the haunted house part was amazing as well. Will definitely come back.
