Masonic Loving Cup

The Masonic Loving Cup occupies a unique place in the Irongate archive. It was the first artifact ever brought into the collection and marked the beginning of what would become the Irongate archive. This ceremonial vessel was used in Masonic rituals throughout time. It symbolizes trust and protection, originating from medieval traditions where drinking left one vulnerable. This item was acquired in 2020 from an oddities shop in New Hope, PA.
